Ingrid began independent studies in Philosophy and, in the same time, worked as a language teacher with a strong focus on speech, listening, and communication.  She also completed one year of Psychoanalysis studies at Fundação Santo André. 
After relocating to Ireland, Ingrid obtained a diploma a BA (Hons) in Psychology and is currently a Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy trainee at the UCD MA Degree, based in St Vincent's Hospital.
She has more than a decade of experience working with people across different age, cultural background and needs, with sustained attention to what is communicated through words and, at times, through the lack of them.
Ingrid is currently established in Dundrum, working from her own office and seeing patients in a trainee analyst capacity and is committed to pursuing this career on a long-term basis.
